Hairstyles differ per city, but there are some trends that can be found all over Japan. Short and medium cuts appear to win out over longer hairstyles at the moment. Especially popular are all kinds of wild variations of the wolf-cut. Quite a few celebrities sport a variation of the wolf-cut, for example golf wonder kid Ryo Ishikawa (1991), and comedian Tomonori Jinnai (1974) who is mostly famous for marrying sexy actress and Miss Japan 1992 Norika Fujiwara (1971).
